Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 28, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Honora Development regarding your use of the Honora app and its content. By creating an account or using Honora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who Can Use Honora
You must be at least 13 years old to use Honora. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
3. The Honora Service
Honora is a curated audio library focused on timeless wisdom, philosophy, spirituality, history, and consciousness-expanding material. The library, individual titles, and features may change, evolve, or be removed over time as we curate the experience.
4. Ownership of the Content
All audio, text, artwork, narration, design, and other material made available inside Honora (the “Content”) is owned by Honora Development or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Content to you.
5. Your License to Use the Content
While your account is active and in good standing, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream and (where the app offers it) download Content for your own private, non-commercial listening on devices you own or control.
This license is granted solely for your personal use. It ends automatically if you stop using Honora, if your account is closed, or if you breach these Terms.
6. What You May Not Do
To protect the artists, authors, and narrators whose work is licensed to Honora — and to keep the experience available to everyone — you agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- Copy, record, screen-capture, re-encode, rip, extract, or otherwise reproduce any audio or other Content, in whole or in part
- Download, save, or store Content outside of the official Honora download feature
- Share, redistribute, publish, broadcast, stream, perform publicly, or make Content available to anyone else
- Use Content commercially — including in podcasts, videos, courses, livestreams, advertisements, or any other commercial setting
- Modify, translate, sample, remix, or create derivative works from the Content
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notice
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, transfer, or share your Honora account or login credentials
- Use Honora through bots, scrapers, automated tools, or any non-official client
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise try to derive the source code or underlying systems of the app
- Attempt to bypass security, authentication, rate-limiting, or any technical restriction
- Use Honora in any way that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others
We take these restrictions seriously. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, and may have legal consequences.
7. Your Content
If a future version of Honora lets you submit content — for example, feedback, reviews, or messages to support — you confirm that you own or have the right to share what you send, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for the purpose of operating and improving the service. You remain responsible for what you submit.
8. Third-Party Services
Honora uses third-party services to operate, including Supabase (backend and authentication), Google Sign-In (optional sign-in), and Apple Push Notifications (if enabled). Your use of these services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Honora at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Content, or use Honora in a way that risks harm to other users, our licensors, or the service. We may also discontinue Honora or any of its features at any time. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimers
Honora’s Content is offered for personal reflection, learning, and inspiration. It is not professional advice. Nothing inside Honora is intended as a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional guidance — please consult an appropriate professional for those needs.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honora Development is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app or the Content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including, in the EU, statutory consumer rights).
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app. Continued use of Honora after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in, and may bring disputes before the courts of that country.
